Normally the app would open and I would see the Steel Series UI and my headset UI connected.īut all that happened is the new SteelSeries * exe (cannot remember the full name now), started running in the background again, and started to take up memory again. Then after that I could not run the actual Steel Series software from my programs. I stopped that running and my computer calmed down. I then saw that a new SteelSeries * exe was running in systems manager, in the background taking up memory. A week or so ago I noticed that my computer was working overtime for no apparent reason. I'm having the very same problem on my Windows 7 machine.
